The Self-Made Sthapathi
Thirty years of sweat, stone, and sacred service — built with his own two hands.
N. Prabhu Sthabathiyar
N. பிரபு ஸ்தபதியார்
For over three decades, N. Prabhu Sthabathiyar has built everything from nothing — his skill, his reputation, his business — relying on no one but himself. Every stone he placed, every contract he earned, every temple he raised came from his own hard work, his own savings, and the sheer refusal to quit.
He does not dwell on the past thirty years. Instead, he lets his most recent work speak for itself. Today, his commissions are monumental — structures that demand equal mastery of ancient Agama Shastra and modern heavy engineering.
"Agama Vithipadi Seithu Tharapadam" — Every stone placed according to the sacred codes. Every promise kept.

Let the Work Speak
These are not his oldest projects. These are his latest — and they are among the most significant sacred structures built in living memory.

The Brindhavanam of the 44th Jeeyar
A Brindhavanam. A Monument in Stone.
A Brindhavanam is the sacred enshrining of a Jeeyar — a Vaishnava pontiff whose mortal form is preserved in meditative posture, not buried, but seated in eternal Samadhi. When the revered 44th Jeeyar of the Ahobila Mutt, Mukkur Srimad Azhagiyasingar, attained the lotus feet of the Lord, only the finest hands were trusted to build his eternal resting place in Srirangam.
The sheer scale of this commission called for more than human hands. Prabhu Sthabathiyar deployed a heavy crane to maneuver colossal granite blocks with millimetre precision — each one placed exactly as the Agama Shastra demands, not a degree off. Ancient rules. Modern machinery. Flawless execution.

Dasaavathara Sannidhi, Srirangam Agopila Mutt
A Once-in-History Temple.
Across thousands of years and millions of temples, no one had built a single sanctum enshrining all ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu — the Dasaavathara — in their true, distinct forms under one roof, with ten kalasams to crown it.
Prabhu Sthabathiyar built it. The Dasaavathara Sannidhi at the Srirangam Agopila Mutt stands today as the first and only temple of its kind in the entire world — a living proof that the greatest tradition is one that is still being written.
